Sneak Preview

It's been a busy couple of days, with a couple of birthdays thrown in.  Made a cake for my Husbands birthday, with lots of help from my girls, it ended up with lovely :-) bright blue icing with rainbow sprinkles.  Had to go to town to stock up on Groceries, I try and avoid this as the closest town is 100km away, but what can you, it had to be done.  I spent last night busily creating some little christmas decorations for Bush Christmas, which is held in Toowoomba, in November, which I was kindly invited to attend, along with 2 of my friends that also craft with me.  Here is a sneak peek at what I have been up to.  Enjoy your day and have a lovely weekend.

Rainy Day

It was raining this morning, and they are predicting more, so Em got to stay home from school today.  We are pretty much stuck to the house when it rains, it doesn't take much to get bogged, especially since the flood.  The ground soaks the water up fast now.  Finally got my Made It store up and running, will try and add something to it every day.  This is my goal anyway.  What do farmers do when it rains.  They stay inside of course and drive the wives insane.  :-)

Here is a picture of a couple of Hair Clips I whipped up last night for Ladies day at Weengallen, which is looming ever closer.  Time sure goes quickly when you have a dead line.
Have a great day.  Enjoy every moment.

Yipee

Finally my blog design is finished.  Many thanks to the lovely Kristina of Two Happy Mamas.  Who did the most amazing job on my page.  I love it.  It is so me. Pretty and Simple.  :-)

Windy Monday

Days like today are all to common where we live, the wind blows and along with it comes the dust. Makes it almost impossible to the washing....  I am currently reading "The Time Travellers Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger.  I am throughly enjoying it.  I adore books, I should have owned a bookshop, but here I am a graziers wife, addicted to all things wool and paper.  I spent the weekend mustering cattle and trying to create at night.  If only the days were endless.  So many things to do, and a deadline looming, plus have to start work on my Christmas birds I create for my Aunt each year.  I will post a picture soon.  Have a good.  Enjoy every moment.

Another week gone

Well another week is coming to a close. It feels like I have gone nowhere fast. School holidays are almost over, and my oldest will be back at Prep next week. Finally had a chance to sit down and create last night after a fairly hectic day. Will add some pictures of my creations as soon as I have worked out how to save pictures. Looking forward to the beginning of another week, maybe this week I will have a lot more creating time.

Goodbye for now.
Have a happy Sunday

The beginning

Well here goes nothing. My first tentative steps into the blogging world. I have been reading other peoples blogs, and I am throughly enjoying reading what other people have to say. I don't get to see many people where I live. My closest neighbour is about 5km away, so as you can imagine we don't catch up very often. I live in constant creative chaos. I have two small girls aged 31/2 and 5... Yes they are close together, but it keeps life interesting. I spend my days working around the property and trying to fit in some craft work. I love everything to do with craft and have been crafting now since I was too young to remember. My girls are also creative, coming from a creative family it was sure to happen.

I am currently in the process of starting a small business venture with a couple of friends.. And can't wait to get out there and show everyone what we have been up to.

Till tomorrow
Keep smiling
Lisa
