Missing Home

So we have been up at Nanny and Poppys for 11 days now.  Emeline ended up having to have a big operation on her teeth, so it has been a very stressful time for us all.

Nanny and Poppy live up in the mountains on a property that backs onto the national park, it is so beautiful and peaceful up here.  There home is an original old log home and it has the most beautiful feel to it, the only photos I could find on Dads computer for this post were ones with the birds that come to visit on the verandah.

But we are missing home.

Or home is old and falling down and we have finally decided to take the plunge and start renvoating.

We are not surrounded by lush green rainforest and mountains.  Our place is flat and open.

But it is home and it will be good to get back.
