Its not bedtime

We had fun trying to get Little P to model our tiny tots flannel nightgown.  She was fine when we first put it on, for all of 5 seconds, then she must have thought it was bedtime.  What a fuss.  We did manage to get a few good photos.

To challenge myself and get back into sewing again, I've decided to join in with the ladies of Frances Suzanne  (http://francessuzanne.blogspot.be/).  Once a month they take a pattern and they flip with some wonderful results.

I just adore this dress and can't wait to start creating one or two.  I've just purchased and downloaded my pattern ready to go.  Isn't it a fantastic dress.


 

A new venture

Its been awhile.  I've been working on a new Venture, which is now open for business.  Its called Pepes Petticoat (http://pepespetticoat.blogspot.com.au/).  A friend and I have joined together to create clothing for our little girls, aged 7-15, as we are having trouble finding clothes that we like for our girls.

Its been so long

Wow.  I can't believe how long it has been since I last visited blogger land.  Alot has been happening in my little part of the world  I am so busy I feel like a dog chasing his tail.

Its almost Bush Christmas time again, not long to go now and I have been busy creating lots of goodies for this fantastic event.

Lots of these kits being created in Christmas colours.

 

And lots and lots and lots and lots of these birds being stitched.  This is my latest design using a wonderful new wool which I adore.

Artist Trading Cards

I must confess I have become addicted to creating these little cards.  They are so much fun to make and swap.    I love the fact that you can use so many different elements when creatying this little beauties.  Here are a couple I put together for a swap earlier this year.

The kids had so much fun decorating and playing with this empty fridge box over the holidays.  It really does only take an empty box, who needs toys?

I'm still kicking

Hello dear friends, I am finally on the mend and now up and about.   The girls have been driving us nuts they are not used to their mum being down and out.  Since I've been laid up nothing exciting has been happening, but I have managed to do a lot of crafting.  There are some benefits to having to leave your feet up.   The girls have a new little friend, heck, they adore him and he keeps them busy playing.
