I have been abit lazy with my blog lately, the problem is that I am still on dialup and it is too slow.  So I have decided that until next week, when I finally get satellite, I will take a little break from uploading pictures etc.  Hopefully I should be up and running again by Saturday.

Now for my week 4 giveaway, seeing as my system will be down, I will extend this giveaway into next week and draw it next Wednesday, to allow for Melbourne cup.

Friends Swap

I joined in a Friendship Swap organised by the lovely Khristina from http://www.sewprimkhris.blogspot.com/.   I received my lovely gifts in the post on Monday.  Thankyou Geniene  (http://rennyandme.blogspot.com/) for the wonderful surprises.  Big E and little E were so excited to get their little gifts too.  Thankyou so much for thinking of them,  I will take some more pictures tomorrow and post them for everyone to see.  They have been carting their little bags around everywhere.  Everything was perfect, you have done a wonderful job.  I am only sorry I have not been able to email you, as I am having trouble with Bigpond.  Everytime I heard a plane go over, it brought a smile to my face thinking of your airmail comment.  Once again thankyou so much, and thankyou Khristina for hosting it.

Chilly weather

It seems a coldfront followed the rain, and the temp has now dropped about 12 degrees, we even had to put the heater on in our bedroom last night. 

I've been abit slack with my posting the past couple of days, the flu has really taken hold in our household, and I seem to only just be dragging myself along. 

So here is a little of what has been going on, in between dragging myself along, of course  :-)

 Friday night was Stitch In night, sadly I had hoped to get more then 4 of these little fellows stitched, but 4 is better than none.  These little ones are made from my own handmade felt, it is so soft, I adore working with it.

Cutting up felt squares for our coaster kits, we have sold out, and not only do I have to make more to restock, I also have to make some more kits up for Bush Christmas.  Hoping to finally knock these ones on the head today.

 I will draw my week 2 giveaway tomorrow, and list my week 3 giveaway.  Hopefully will have a bit more energy tomorrow.

Perfect weather for stitching

Today, it is wet and windy, so far we have had about 1 inch of rain, but doesn't sound like much, but is alot out here.  It is the perfect weather to sit and watch a movie and do some stitching.  Which I totally intend on doing very soon.  Just cutting out some coasters for Bush Christmas, which is now only 4 weeks away.

Just an Ordinary Day

The girls came over today, as we are busily trying to get organised for Bush Christmas.  We managed to get 46 of my feather angels made to sell.  One of my friends is a teacher and she is super organised.  Luckily one of is, us other 2 muck around too much.  :-)

My Creative Space

Still busy getting ready for Bush Christmas, I am starting to feel a little stressed now, being sick isn't helping.  Stockings ready to Stitch.

Creating more flat felt.

Time to start work on more of these, for this christmas, it takes me about 1 week to create one.

These little fellow go to my Aunty in Brisbane for in her store, each Christmas, I would also like to have some done for Bush Christmas.

Finally I am still trying to work out what to do with these.

Off to do some ironing now, then fingers crossed some more crafty stuff.

Wool Disaster

So I bought 1kg of unwashed wool 2 years ago, and tried to get it clean, that is get most of the lanolin out of it, I thought I had succeeded, but when I pulled this project out of the cupboard from 1 year ago, it still feels all sticky, so it has to go.  I hate throwing away anything that I have put so much work into, but I have very little chance of getting the lanolin out now.  Oh well, better luck with the next batch.

My brain feels abit like this today.  I think I'm getting what the girls had.  Isn't that always the way, they start to get better, and then you go down with it.

Sick Girls

Both my little Angels are very sick, we even ventured into town to take them to the hospital yesterday.  Big E has Bronchitis and Little E has a middle ear infection along with something else which we have had tests for, we just have to wait for the results now.  So there has been nothing exciting happening on the home front.

Out of sorts

We are down and out for the count today, my little ones are both very sick....  We were up and down all night, so I haven't had enough sleep, hopefully will catch up on some today.  It is so sad when they are sick, you never know quite what to do.  But somehow we always manage to muddle through.
