Another Busy Week Gone

Another week has passed by, it is hard to believe it is Saturday again.  This week has been a pretty rough one in the Mocker household, Emeline has been getting 2 of her big back teeth and every night she lies in bed screaming and rolling around in pain.   It's hard for us because we've given her pain medicine (I have even resorted to trying bonjela, again) and you've done everything you can to make her comfortable and you know she's suffering but there is nothing you can do except give her lots of cuddles.  Hopefully they come through soon and the pain will stop.

So this post has no pictures this week, just wanted to stop and say Hi to everyone, I haven't had time to stop until now.  The girls are still asleep, hubby's gone to work, washing is on and I finally have time to stop and breathe.

Finally the weekend

We've had a very busy week in the schoolroom this week.  When you miss a couple of days, it feels like you will never catch up, but with a little extra work we managed it.  Also with hubby away and having to do extra farm chores it felt like the weekend would never come.  With everything going on and the girls constantly teasing each other it didn't leave me much time to be crafty, but I did to make a couple of sweet little needle cases.

We have a party to go tonight, the 2nd one this year, we had one last Saturday and now another one.

Happy Tuesday

I never know what to write for my titles, I sit down to write and my mind just goes blank and so I end up repeating myself, anyway.  I have been busy creating a couple of scarfs this week, and something new for me some little felt birdie embellishments. 

I thought these birdies would look great on some cards or scrapbooking, I will have to get busy and test them.

I found some more UFO's I thought I could start work on this week.

These poor stitcheries have been languishing in my sewing basket for about 5 years now, I  remember starting on them not long after Emeline was born, I think they deserved to be finished and made into something.

ATC cards

I have always wanted to have a go at making some ATC cards, but have never got around to doing it.  So I joined in a ATC card swap with some of the Stampin Up ladies to help get me motivated, here is what I came up with.  My stamp collection is not that large yet, so I did the best with what I had.  We had to make 12 cards, 11 to send and 1 to keep.  I had a fun time creating these little cards, they didn't take as long as I thought.  I will definately be giving them a go again in the future.
